#GivingTuesday is November 27, And We Need Your Help!
11/19/2018

After Thanksgiving, #BlackFriday and #CyberMonday, we celebrate #GivingTuesday! This special day shows that holidays can be about both giving and giving back.

And this year, Citizens Bank is giving back in a big way! For every dollar you donate to the Ranches during #GivingTuesday, November 27, Citizens Bank will match your gift dollar for dollar up to $5,000!

ONE DAY ONLY! This #GivingTuesday, you can double the impact of your gift to the ASYR by making an online donation or by dropping your gift by at any Citizens Bank location on Tuesday, November 27th.

Here are some ways YOU can help the Ranches receive the entire $5,000 matching gift from Citizens Bank on #GivingTuesday:

Give a Child the Gift of Hope

Since 1976, the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches have been a place of hope and healing to children, who through no fault of their own, needed a place to call home. The greatest gift you can give a child is a life free from hunger, neglect, and abuse. Even a small gift this #GivingTuesday can make a BIG difference!

Selecting the monthly gift option is an easy, affordable way to continue your support througout the year! A monthly gift of $25 equals about .83 cents per day. So for less than the cost of a bottle of water, your gift can help provide homes for some of Arkansas’s most deserving children.

To learn more about how you can support the Youth Ranches, reply to this email or call Matt Cleveland at 501-940-3440.

Become a Hope Builder with a monthly contribution.

For the cost of a fast food meal, you can help change a child’s life. If everyone who reads this would give just $10, we will exceed our #GivingTuesday goal!

A contribution for as little as $10 per month can help provide for things like:
•  New shoes for our boys and girls
•  An allowance for a child
•  Caps and gowns for our graduates
•  Birthday gifts for our children
•  Feed for goats, chickens or other animals on the Ranch
•  Salary for our loving houseparents
•  Utilities for our cottages

Become a Hope Builder by committing to a monthly contribution. It’s a simple, secure way to provide consistent support to the ASYR. Click here to support today!

Actor Judge Reinhold to Appear at Special Screening of The Santa Clause to Benefit Ranch
11/19/2018

Actor Judge Reinhold will make a special appearance on Sunday, December 2, at the Melba Theater in Batesville for a screening of Disney’s Christmas hit The Santa Clause starring Tim Allen. Judge, who co-stars as Neal in the film, is best known for his roles in Beverly Hills Cop 1,2,3Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and Seinfeld.

The Santa Clause will kick off the theater’s Very Melba Christmas series. Judge will participate in a Q&A and signings following the screening. The screening will benefit the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches. The film will begin at 6:30 pm on Sunday, December 2 at the Melba Theater, located at 115 West Main Street in downtown Batesville.

Tickets for this special benefit screening are $5 each and can be purchased at the door or at the Melba’s website here. 100% of each ticket sold will be donated to the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches.

Judge is also encouraging attendees to bring an unwrapped Christmas present appropriate for ages 6-18 for the children who live at the Ranch. “The Youth Ranch has been around for over 40 years,” said Judge. “The children who live here come from all over the state. Even though they aren’t with their biological families, the staff loves them and raises them like their own family, and they are proud to live at the Ranch.”
