Batesville Campus
Batesville: Headquarters/ Main Campus
100 Saint Vincent Place
Batesville, AR 72503
The Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches’ original, main campus is located on 568-acres on the White River near Batesville in Independence County. Established in 1977, the Batesville campus along the White River became the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Boys Ranches headquarters. Our first two residents, siblings, moved in during construction of the first cottage, which was dedicated on October 10, 1977.
What started as one mobile home for boys has expanded into a campus with four cottages, a multi-purpose gym/event center, an administrative building, a barn and pastures, and facilities available for rent for weddings and conferences.
We also provide rental facilities at great rates to the community. All proceeds from rentals directly benefit the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches. Rental facilities include a lodge for up to 40 guests, a chapel and bridal suite, and an event center. We regularly host weddings, conferences, retreats, and reunions on our campus. Contact us for more information about renting Batesville campus facilities.
And of course, there’s lots of land for children to explore on bikes, ride horses, fish, and work with Hereford cattle and other livestock.
If you’re considering donating to the Ranch, volunteering at the Ranch, or renting our facilities, why not schedule a tour of our grounds?
