Houseparents Mom & Pop Ingram to Retire
07/09/2024

After 40 plus years of service, longtime houseparents Cheyenne & Rick Ingram are retiring from the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches. Cheyenne & Rick (AKA Mom & Pop Ingram) have devoted their lives to raising children at the Ranch and have raised upwards of a thousand children in their home, along with their two biological children. Rick has also served as ASYR’s campus manager for the last decade.

Mom & Pop Ingram have described being a houseparent as more of a ministry and a lifestyle than a job. They have countless stories of the children whose lives have been changed by having a stable, loving home at the Ranch.

The Ranch is hosting a retirement party for the Ingrams on Saturday, July 20 from 12pm-4pm in the ASYR Event Center, located at 100 Saint Vincent Place, Batesville, Arkansas. We hope this will be a special time for past Ranchers and friends of the Ranch to drop in and help us celebrate the Ingrams’ legacy to the Ranch.

Please join us in wishing the Ingrams well in their retirement and thank them for their outstanding service to generations of Arkansas children.
