Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches TBRI Training

Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches is now offering training in Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®).

TBRI is a therapeutic model that trains caregivers to provide effective support and treatment for at-risk children. TBRI has been applied in orphanages, courts, residential treatment facilities, group homes, foster and adoptive homes, churches, and schools.

TBRI is an attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. TBRI uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles for attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. Click here to learn more about TBRI

Rick Hays is a certified TBRI practitioner with more than 20 years of experience working with at-risk children and adolescents. He offers this training to professionals and foster parents serving at-risk children in Arkansas.

This training is currently a FREE resource provided by the ASYR to create better outcomes for Arkansas children.

Schedule your TBRI training

We currently have two training options available:

  1. A two-hour introduction course to TBRI that covers attachment and neurochemistry, and
  2. A full TBRI training of 16 hours, that can be divided to best meet the group’s time constraints.

Location of trainings is flexible based on the needs of the group and the availability of the practitioner. Continuing Education Units (CEU) are provided by the practitioner.

Contact Rick Hays at 870-834-3759 or rick@youthranches.com to request more information or to schedule your TBRI training.
