Actor Judge Reinhold will make a special appearance on Sunday, December 2, at the Melba Theater in Batesville for a screening of Disney’s Christmas hit The Santa Clause starring Tim Allen. Judge, who co-stars as Neal in the film, is best known for his roles in Beverly Hills Cop 1,2,3; Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and Seinfeld.
The Santa Clause will kick off the theater’s Very Melba Christmas series. Judge will participate in a Q&A and signings following the screening. The screening will benefit the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches. The film will begin at 6:30 pm on Sunday, December 2 at the Melba Theater, located at 115 West Main Street in downtown Batesville.
Tickets for this special benefit screening are $5 each and can be purchased at the door or at the Melba’s website here. 100% of each ticket sold will be donated to the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches.
Judge is also encouraging attendees to bring an unwrapped Christmas present appropriate for ages 6-18 for the children who live at the Ranch. “The Youth Ranch has been around for over 40 years,” said Judge. “The children who live here come from all over the state. Even though they aren’t with their biological families, the staff loves them and raises them like their own family, and they are proud to live at the Ranch.”
