Driving Directions to Batesville Campus

Entering Batesville from the SOUTH on Hwy 167 you will cross the White River and be on a four-lane highway. At the third stop light, the intersection of St. Louis St. (Hwy 167) and Harrison Street, turn left on Harrison. There is a Walgreen’s, a Subway, auto parts store and First Community Bank. Proceed down Harrison and at the four-way stop (stop signs, not lights) at the Stanley Wood Chevrolet-Chrysler dealership, go right onto Central. Go thru two stop lights, cross RR tracks and at the Dollar General store, turn left on Hwy 106. Stay on Hwy 106 spur, it’s about 8 miles to the community of Bethesda. You’ll see a green hwy Sheriffs’ Youth Ranch sign, turn left onto Earnheart Road and it’s about three miles. Turn right on St. Vincent Place. Office is in Sturgis Building.

If you’re coming from the NORTH on Hwy 167, about a mile before you come into Batesville there is a Western Sizzlin’, turn right at the stop light onto Hwy 25, (it’s also White Dr.) You can also be coming from the EAST on Hwy 25 and you will cross this intersection. (Take White Dr. to stop sign, (it’ll be Hwy 69/North Central Ave.) turn left onto N. Central Avenue. Turn right onto W. Ross St and stay straight to go onto Bethesda lane or AR 106 Spur.Turn left on Earnheart Rd. for about 3 miles. There’s a green highway sign that says Sheriffs’ Youth Ranch at that intersection.

There is no highway that comes into the Batesville area from the WEST as the White River forms a geographical boundary. Traffic coming from western locales will find themselves approaching Batesville either from the south from Bald Knob, from the northwest from Mountain Home or from the southwest from Heber Springs.

Directions to Hardy Campus

The “Hardy campus” is actually located in Cherokee Village. To reach the campus, take Hwy 62/412 to 175 North. There is a King Catfish restaurant at this intersection. Follow 175, watching for green highway sign indicating a right turn to the Ranch. Stay on this road across the low water bridge. Follow to entrance to Ranch.

Directions to Alma Campus

From Highway 71 north of Alma, turn east onto West Graphic Road. Come to convenience store on left and the road curves right where it becomes South Graphic Drive.

Stay on this until you reach Old Graphic Road on your left. Turn left, go about 1.4 miles and the campus is on the right.

Directions to South Arkansas Campus (Amity)

From Little Rock (Take Social Hill Exit) or go to Arkadelphia

  • I30 exit @ Social Hill (#91)
  • Stay on Highway 84 through Bismark
  • Go through Point Cedar continue to follow Highway 84 to the intersection with Highway 346 (approximately 17 miles)
  • Turn left onto 346 and follow signs 2.2 miles to Cox Creek turnoff
  • Turn left on road that will lead to Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranches, Inc. campus (approximately 1 mile)

From Hot Springs

  • Take Highway 7 south to Bismark
  • Turn right onto Highway 84. Go through Point Cedar, continuing to follow Highway 84 to its intersection with Highway 346.
  • Turn left onto Highway 346 and follow signs 2.2 miles to Cox Creek turnoff.
  • Turn left on road that will lead to campus.

From Arkadelphia or Mena

  • Take Highway 8 and travel 25 miles to Amity
  • On the square in Amity, turn right on Highway 84, traveling north.
  • Take Highway 84 to its intersection with Highway 346 (5 miles).
  • Turn right on Highway 346 and follow signs 2.2 miles to Cox Creek turnoff.
  • Turn left on road that will lead to campus.
  • Turn left on road that will lead to campus.

Directions to Boone County Campus

From East and South

  • Stay on highway 65 North
  • Take 65-412 Business
  • Cross Crooked Creek Bridge
  • Next stoplight is Hwy 7, Turn left on Pine Street
  • Stay on Hwy 7/43 until it splits (1.3 miles)
  • Stay on Hwy 43
  • Take 43 to top of mountain (there is an overlook @ 8.1 miles, 2nd overlook @ 8.8 miles)
  • Approximately 4 miles (12.2 miles from split of 7/43.) You will come to Hilltop Road. Take a right on Hilltop Road - .5 miles
  • Turn right on Summit Road (It is the 1st right on Hilltop). 1.1 miles on Summit Road you will come to a stone house (end of pavement)
  • Turn right on Walker Drive - .3 miles to SWBCWA Twin water towers.
  • Arkansas Sheriffs Youth Ranch is across the road from the two towers.
